In short: use Dark and Void within Discord's rules, what you create is yours, Dark is free, Void is free with optional per-server Premium, and both come with no warranty.
Acceptance
These terms apply to the Discord bots Dark and Void by Noir Studios. By adding either bot to a server or using its commands, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use them. You must also follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
The services
Dark is a bot for tabletop roleplaying games: character sheets, dice rolls, shops and economy, favors, a GM content library, events and voice rooms.
Void is a bot for running communities: events with sign-ups, dynamic voice rooms, activity leaderboards and charts, boosters, counters, automatic threads, channel cleanup, logs, FFXIV roleplay profiles and Moon sign-ups.
Who can use them
You must meet the minimum age Discord requires in your country to have an account. If you add a bot to a server, you confirm that you are allowed to do so and that you are responsible for how it is configured there, including telling members what data it processes.
Acceptable use
You may not use the bots to:
- harass, threaten, or post illegal content, child sexual content, hate speech, or content that infringes other people's rights;
- spam or abuse commands through automation;
- look for or exploit bugs, bypass limits or permissions, or try to access data from other servers;
- impersonate other people or Noir Studios.
Your content
What you create with the bots stays yours: sheets, characters and custom content in Dark; roleplay profiles, events, templates and configuration text in Void. You allow us to store, process and display it on Discord only so the bots can work. You are responsible for having the right to upload it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Pricing and Premium
Dark is free. It does not sell features, characters or advantages and has no paid plans, as required by Paradox Interactive's Dark Pack Agreement for World of Darkness content.
Void is free for its core features. Void Premium is activated per server with /premium activate and unlocks additional options. Activations are assigned by Noir Studios. If Premium is ever offered for a fee, the price and the payment and refund terms will be shown before purchase and will form part of these terms. We may change what Premium includes; if we remove a paid feature, we will give reasonable notice.

Dark includes unofficial fan content. Portions of the materials are the copyrights and trademarks of Paradox Interactive AB, and are used with permission under the Dark Pack Agreement. No warranty
The bots are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee they will run without interruptions or errors, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from use of the bots. Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country does not allow us to exclude.
Suspension and removal
You can stop using a bot at any time by removing it from your server. We may block users or servers that break these terms, or stop offering a bot, without notice.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using the bots after a change, you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country or state], unless the law of your country gives you greater protection.
